susanne ambühler

this is susanne ambühler-hauenstein, my most beloved wife. she was born on march, 11th 1962. after the usuall schools, she became a "kaufmännische angestellte". but she is not born to work in an office. therefore she got her "matura" (graduation diploma) on what we call the "secondary educational path" and became a teacher.

even though susanne was born in oberglatt, a neighbour village of rümlang where i was born, it needed a trip to norway to meet each other. it was on that trip with three camper vans when we met for the first time. this was in summer 1979. we got involved, started dating and finally moved into the same appartement in 1982. we got married in summer 1989 and started our 15 month honeymoon trip.

we came back to switzerland in fall 1990 and one year later, our first child - daniel - was born. susanne quit her job and became a full time mother and housewife. in summer 1994, our second child katrin was born. the birth of our third child mathias was somewhat unusual ...
